Firstly, please ensure that you are:

A). Using MailTag on a supported browser (our service is currently available on the Google Chrome browser).

B). Signed into the correct email address that is associated with your MailTag account.

C). Have enabled MailTag on your Gmail account (upon adding our extension, you will be prompted with a pop-up asking you to activate MailTag. If you don't activate MailTag, you will be unable to access our features).

D). Are not using any other browser extension that may have conflicting functionality. For example, if you are using another email tracking application, please ensure you have removed it from your browser. Once the problematic extension(s) have been removed, please refresh your Gmail.

If neither of these options work
, please do the following steps:

Step 1: Uninstall/Remove MailTag the extension from your browser.
Step 2: Delete your browser's cookies and cache.
Step 3: Re-install MailTag from the Google chrome store.

One other thing to ensure:

  • If you are using your web browser in Incognito mode, please make sure your browser has enabled "Allow in incognito” mode checked for your browser add-ons (otherwise, you will not be able to use our service in incognito).
